About the Author

I’m Alanna Gallo — former high school teacher, mom of four, and author of Uninfluenceable: A Guide to Raising Confident Kids in a Trend-Driven, Social-Media-Fueled World.

After more than a decade in the classroom, I saw how screens, school culture, and social media were quietly reshaping kids—chipping away at their confidence, curiosity, and sense of self. I watched bright, creative students start doubting who they were because of what they saw online.

When I became a mom, I knew I couldn’t just talk about the problem—I had to build a solution.

Today, I help parents raise grounded, self-aware, and resilient kids in a world that profits from their distraction. Through my book, courses, and coaching, I give families research-backed tools and real-world strategies to set healthy tech boundaries, strengthen connection, and foster independence—without fear, guilt, or rigid rules.

Because childhood is being hijacked by screens and social pressure.

And it’s time to take it back.
